Method
Weigh and prepare all ingredients for Bitterballen (Dutch meatballs): 100 g Butter, 150 g Flour, 700 ml Beef Stock, 30 g Onion, 4 g Parsley, 400 g Beef, 1 g Salt, 1 g Pepper, 1 g Nutmeg, 50 g Flour, 110 g Eggs, 50 g Breadcrumbs. Wash produce and cut or grate it as the recipe requires. Keep raw animal products separate from ready-to-eat ingredients, and wash used bowls and knives promptly.
Shape the mixture containing Flour into even portions; warm a pan over medium heat and add the listed oil if included.
Cook the shaped pieces without crowding the pan for about 15 minutes, turning as needed, until coloured outside and fully hot and cooked within.
Divide Bitterballen (Dutch meatballs) into 7 equal portions. Add fresh herbs, cheese or delicate greens only at the end and serve straight away.
