Method
Weigh and prepare all ingredients for Beef Empanadas: 60 g Butter, 340 g Water, 5 g Salt, 600 g All purpose flour, 3 pcs (approx. 360 g) Tomato, 5 g Garlic, 120 g Red Onions, 30 g Spring Onions, 750 g Sirloin steak, 15 g Dried Oregano, 2 g Paprika, 2 g Red Pepper Flakes. Wash produce and cut or grate it as the recipe requires.
Heat the oven to 200°C. Lightly oil an ovenproof dish and arrange Water with the remaining ingredients in an even layer.
Bake on the middle rack for about 40 minutes. The centre should be hot and the top lightly coloured; rest filled dishes for 5 minutes before cutting.
Divide Beef Empanadas into 6 equal portions. Add fresh herbs, cheese or delicate greens only at the end and serve straight away.
