Method
Weigh and prepare all ingredients for Baked brie with sorrel jam: 30 g Dried Sorrel, 400 g Brown Sugar, 5 g Ground Ginger, 30 g Cinnamon, 1 pcs (approx. 5 g) vanilla pod, 100 g Orange, 250 ml Water, 55 g Egg, 100 g Puff Pastry, 908 g Brie, 10 g Sorrel Jam, 5 ml Water. Wash produce and cut or grate it as the recipe requires. Keep raw animal products separate from ready-to-eat ingredients, and wash used bowls and knives promptly.
Heat the oven to 200°C. Lightly oil an ovenproof dish and arrange Dried Sorrel with the remaining ingredients in an even layer.
Bake on the middle rack for about 40 minutes. The centre should be hot and the top lightly coloured; rest filled dishes for 5 minutes before cutting.
For minced meat, confirm that the centre reaches at least 71°C; no raw or pink area should remain.
Divide Baked brie with sorrel jam into 8 equal portions. Add fresh herbs, cheese or delicate greens only at the end and serve straight away.
